I am passionate about serving and helping people.  Being an independent agent allows me to offer choices to my customers and tailor a policy that fits each individual.  I have 25 years in the insurance industry, getting my start in 1984 when Glenn Matthews and Kay Robinson, State Farm agents took a chance on me.

When life serves unexpected and sometimes even tragic events, we want to be able to assist in restoring and replacing the material things that replaceable, and do so with care and compassion.

I have 3 sons Zac, Adam and Tyler Ford,  and one granddaughter, Ansleigh Bryce Ford.  I am very devoted to my family.  My Parents are Billy and Jean Smith, and I also have 2 sisters.  Teresa Harper and Gina Carson.  I have one niece and 7 nephews.

Hobbies are music of all kinds(I play piano) and cooking/baking for other people.  We sometimes bake cookies for our customers on Friday.

I am the youngest of three daughters born to Jarrell and Jean Yates.  My two sisters, Jeri Newman and Jenny Hilton, are a big part of my life, as is the rest of my family.  I am married to Stacy Becerra and we share a son, Jake.  We both grew up in Thomaston and cherish the small-town atmosphere.  I graduated from Upson High School in 1990 and attended Columbus State University with a major in Accounting.  I have a passion for baking, photography, and spending as much time with my family as possible.  I love the Lord with all my heart and credit Him alone with every blessing I have.  I strive to make everyone feel at ease and comfortable and I truly want to help people.  I love working in the insurance industry because it gives me that opportunity every day.
